VISION

1)   to be happy!
2) to have a great job
3)    to invent something
 4) to have my own family
5) to give back to the community

I think the video, although it was very corny, was very inspirational. It brought up a lot of truths. We are in control of our futures. If we want something it is up to us to go for it. I intend to make something of myself in the future whether it is a good wife, mother, employee, manager, whatever it may be. I am as capable as I allow myself to be. All these things that I want for myself I can obtain by visioning it and going for it! I do not think this is something I can really determine how to do just yet but I can envision it and act on it along with time.

  1. Does it matter for you future job to be a high-paying one?

  2. I support your goal to be happy. So many of us end up so wrapped in our careers we simply forget to enjoy the little things. Especially the high stress of financial careers we can pursue after graduating here. I would say happiness is the best sentimental goal to try to achieve.

  3. ^ I agree, sometimes I feel that happiness is extremely important! Sometimes I feel that we forget to ask ourselves that because we don't see that as a goal and expect it to be a given. Good and important goal!

  4. I love that your first goal is to be happy and that the goal involving money is third :)

I also think that allowing the details of your goals to be established with time is very open-minded of you as well as very realistic. I personally, love planning everything in detail and I have come to realize that things don't always go as planned.

    Good luck!

  5. Yeah I agree with everyone else in that I think being happy is an important goal to have because if you get too worked up in school or work or anything that doesn't make you happy then what's the point. I like how you are staying open-minded because it allows you to change your mind as you change and grow. I'm sure you'll accomplish all of the above and more as long as you stay focused on them.

  6. In response to you comment on my blogg:

With no doubt you will enjoy your time in Europe, there are many things to see -depending which country you are hiding to- make your travelling as a time of exploring and learning which will add an informative experience to your souvenirs.

  7. I'll jump on the agreeing with being happy band-wagon. It is often overlooked in todays society; especially in a fast paced environment like NYC. People are constantly running around between work and life at home. They don't give themselves any time to do anything that will make them happy. I think that if someone is happy, almost everything else will fall in place.
