I have to be honest. At first I was really excited to have a Blog. This is my first time blogging and I probably would never have blogged it if it were not for this class. Now it is less exciting and I just view it as an assignment that needs to get done. But, blogging was useful for reinforcing the ideas that we learned in class and having an example to relate everything back to. It was also interesting to see different class members express their opinions and creativity on their blogs. I think I do not place much emphasis on the blog because I do participate in class so I do not feel it is necessary to express my thoughts much behind the scenes. And I have to admit I am a bit skeptical about my blogging skills, although I do like making it pretty :) Overall, I think it was an interesting and cool approach to doing assignments.

  1. I felt the same way, first I was excited to blog then I just wanted to get over it. But, I think to improve your grade with this assignment it is a good idea and sometimes it is even fun.My suggestion would be to keep the blog , but just for extra credit for those who want to do it.I understand that there are many people who are affraid to speak up and this might be a good way for them to express what they think.

  2. You made a lot of good points in your post. I didn't really think of it that way and this is one of the benefits of having a blog, being able to see the views of others in the class.

PS-your page is pretty...I don't think there's anyone that doesn't like the background of your blog page lol.

  3. I think it is a very nice part of this class, we can write our opinions here everytime after class activites, it is a very nice way to study and easy to remember things we need to study and i enjoy that. I admire that you are a better speaker than you are a writer. Because for myself i am not a good speaker and also i don't think i am a good blogger, too. Anyway, i love this blog thing, it really bring me fun and i cognizance that i learn from it.

  5. It's true that I would also never blog, unless for the assignment. But I found that this was a great way to see what other people thought, and what they experienced. For example, it was amazing to know how others felt when we were trying to agree with everyone for the test grade.

  6. Hmmm.. This is an interesting take on the whole blogging assignment. I do agree with you that this can get tedious and annoying but I used it as a tool to have fun. I would try a funny approach to every topic and entertain myself (yes as you correctly guessed I do not have many friends :)

But look at the bright side you do not have to blog about management topics anymore... you get to write a poetry about it :P

  7. I def. agree with the tedious and annoying comment....it can be especially when you go to school all day and work on the days your not in school...and then you're like ughhh I need to blog. (sigh....wow I needed to let that out!) lol

But I must say, it was quite fun. Especially, because while the blog topic is given, the response depends on the person...so you have those who respond intellectually and those who add humor to their blog. Each blog had its own personality...

  8. I think is a good way to comminucate. Being a foreign student I understand the need to it. Many " of us" are just not that type of people who would speak up or they are shine. I founded also interesting, but as you said after a time was just an assignment that I wanted to finish.I read many interesting things and learned about different cultures and met some classmates in person and also by their blog.

  9. Yea, overall I thought the blog was becoming more of a task rather than something we enjoy. Sometimes the topics make my head shoot out blanks so I don't know how to respond.
